Local Wildlife can be seen in abundance here. Pillar Point Harbor is the northernmost harbor in the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary.

• Although otters are rare in Pillar Point they have been spotted!
• Harbor seals are around in abundance.
• The California sea lion is a common sighting in Pillar Point Harbor.
