Isla Guanaja, Honduras

8 days—$1,800 (airfare and beverages not included)

Join us for a week of exploration in the tropical island paradise of Guanaja — one of Honduras’ Bay Islands in the Caribbean. No experience is necessary to kayak along the reef, hike through the lush forest to an island waterfall, snorkel with crayola-colored fish, and relax on beautiful white sand beaches. We operate from a styled-out base camp at the End of the World dive resort, returning every afternoon for meals and island time. Our motorized support boat provides not only safety, but the ability for us to start from a new location every day. We’ll have the opportunity to see dolphins, sea turtles, eagle rays, reef fish, magnificent frigatebirds, and great-tailed grackles, as well as meet the local islanders and learn about their fascinating Caribbean culture.

This trip is guided by Doug Connor, who has operated Caribbean Kayak Adventures in Guanaja since 1998.
